The Brazilian Aluminum Association - ABAL

Founded in 1970, the Brazilian Aluminum Association - ABAL is an entity that joins currently 100% of primary aluminum producers and processing companies that represent around 80% of the metal’s domestic consumption, in addition to companies connected to other links of the aluminum production chain – recyclers, manufacturers of raw materials and of aluminum sulfate, resellers, retailers and service providers. Representing the Brazilian aluminum industry – responsible for 4.3% of the Brazilian industrial GDP, and for sales in the order of US$ 12.1 billion per year – stands out as the exclusive information source for the industry, with the main goal of promoting aluminum and its applications and to increase competitiveness of the entire production chain.
