IV Aluminum International Congress and Aluminum International Exposure – ExpoAlumínio will take place between days 18 and 20 of May, 2010, at Centro de Exposições Imigrantes (Imigrantes Exposures’ Center), in São Paulo. Uniting the links of the aluminum industry, ABAL – Associação Brasileira do Alumínio (Brazilian Aluminum Association) and Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado, partners in the organization and marketing of the events, will simultaneously carry out X International Seminar of Aluminum Recycling.
 
The three events, already consecrated as the largest ones within the segment in Latin America, in this manner, become part of the activities in celebration for the 40 years of ABAL and integrate an international cycle of fairs regarding aluminum, which Reed Exhibitions promotes around the world. Based on the last editions of the event, over 4,500 visitors are expected, and around one thousand participants in Brazil and abroad.
 
The coordinators of the Technical and Recycling commissions of ABAL, respectively, Ayrton Filleti and Henio De Nicola, believe that the union of the Congress and Seminar will bring benefits to the entire industry. According to “the insertion of the International Seminar of Aluminum Recycling makes the entire aluminum productive chain to be contemplated and shows its importance regarding the environment and society. Besides, it benefits sponsor companies, which have the opportunity of obtaining greater visibility of their brands, in a single action”.
 
To De Nicola, the union of the events will provide to the participants an enlarged view of the aluminum industry that has incorporated more actions and investments to ensure an excellence level in the segment sustainability. “Under this point of view, it is not possible to separate the intrinsic benefits of the aluminum recycling of the entire metal productive chain", adds the coordinator.
 
During the three days of events, professionals of the entire productive chain of aluminum and the academy, as well as students, will be updated on the news and tendencies regarding the production technology and the applications of the metal in the several consumption segments, sustainable development, labor safety and recycling; it will also be possible to see during ExpoAlumínio 2010 the presentation of products, services, equipment and the main technological innovations of this segment. “Open sessions” with market themes, aimed at specific audiences, will also be part of the program.
